It's kinda a fashionable album (their 4th) to have as your favourite, but just like Pearl Jam's 4th album (No Code) it has serious flaws. After that they basically abandoned playing Justice songs live for a decade (except One and Harvester). The massive changes on the Black Album were a direct reaction to the failings on Justice, that became very apparent after playing those songs live for 2 years. It was a low-point in their songwriting up to that point. And the hyper-scooped dry bassless production across the whole album is notorious. But the remaining 4 songs are cut-and-pasted-riff yawnfests. Yes it has two undeniable classics (One, Harvester), and a few good tracks (Blackened, Shortest, Dyers). Soundgarden - Matt Cameron is the drummer!!! (If you know of a band/artist that's not on this list, let us know, if you think there's one on here that doesn't belong - keep it to yourself).
